Bread tricks!

I learned something today -- whenever you go to buy bread, don't bother squeezing the loaf to measure the freshness by the softness. Bread is delivered 5 days a week: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri & Sat.

The *twist ties* (or the little clips) on the breads are the code to which day they were delivered. The list goes as follows..

Mon - Blue
Tues - Green
Thurs - Red
Fri - White
Sat - Yellow

(hint: the colors go in alphabetical order thru the week)

Therefore, if it's Thurs, do NOT buy bread if the tie is white, it's almost a week old!
