- If you're best friend and boyfriend begin hanging out together an excessive amount, don't be dense and assume that they're secretly planning a surprise for you.
- If you're boyfriend hands you a note inbetween classes, and it's addressed to some other girl, he didn't do it on purpose, nor is he attempting a really bad joke.
- Incase your boyfriend ever calls late one night, and both you and your dad answer the phone at the same time [but dad's the one to say, "Hello?"] and your boyfriend asks for some other girl, it wasn't because he was pretending he dialed the wrong number to save your ass from getting in trouble because he called super late. He wanted to talk to [insert name of said girl here], but was drunk and dialed your number by accident.
- If your lazy-as-hell but doesn't-give-a-damn-since-you-two-hit-the-"comfort zone of the relationship"-boyfriend suddenly has a passion for working out, shaving daily, smelling nice, and dressing appropriately, there's a female in his presence whom he's trying to impress, one of which is *not* you.
- The girl who has been walking him to his classes lately isn't trying to help solve the problems you two have been dealing with recently, she's trying to help intensify the problems you two have been dealing with recently.
- If he really likes you, he'll address you by the correct name.
- The sudden busy signal you are faced with when you have been trying to reach him for your routine-nightly-chat isn't due to the fact that he just discovered he and his grandma have a lot to talk about at all hours of the night.
- Yes, he *did* notice the super hot girl who just walked by.
- You and him are sitting on the couch watching tv after he just got home from a camping trip with his buddies. A commercial comes on for "American Sweethearts" [which just came to theaters] and he blurts out how funny that movie was. Trust me, he didn't go to see it with the aforementioned buddies.
